We put this kit together to replace the mechanical power steering pump when converting to an electric pump design.  The light weight pulley assembly simply bolts into the old pump location, allowing you to maintain the OEM belt and routing.  Fits Porsche 996/986 and Gen 1 987/997.  Not 996 GT3.
