Unitronic Catback Exhaust - MK8/MK8.5 GTI

Unitronic® is proud to release its Cat-Back Exhaust System for the MK8 GTI® equipped with the 2.0TSI EVO4 engine. This Cat-Back Exhaust System features 3-inch T304 Stainless Steel mandrel bent tubing, high density, high temperature glass fiber packed mufflers and high quality v-band fasteners with T316 Stainless Steel flanges. Exiting at the rear, 4" polished tips with engraved Unitronic logos are standard while 4" black tips with engraved Unitronic logos are optional. These attributes combined with extensive R&D testing, help ensure perfect fitment and maximum performance, while maintaining a comfortable but enhanced exhaust tone which isn't obtrusive inside the cabin of the MK8 GTI.

At Unitronic, development begins with setting the objectives; performance, efficiency, aesthetics and quality. Operations start with 3D scanning the engine bay, exhaust tunnel and OEM components of the MK8 GTI with its in-house Creaform 3D scanner. Once 3D scan data has been collected and processed, Unitronic Hardware Engineers then interact with the 3D models to identify fitment constraints, mounting locations, other component locations, etc. to ensure the final product fits perfectly within the “envelope”, while achieving the objectives and intent of the product.

Unitronic is offering this MK8 GTI Cat-Back Exhaust System with 4" polished tips or 4" black PVD tips (optional) to suit a wide range of tastes. Unitronic will also be offering these exhaust tips separately for customers who decide to swap them down the road. Installation is made simple with Unitronic's slip on design.
