CTS Turbo VW/Audi 1.8T/2.0T TSI Turbo Outlet Pipe (EA888.1 and EA888.3) is designed to replace the narrow 'pancake' pipe that comes as factory equipment on your vehicle. Our Turbo Outlet Pipe features 2.25" diameter aluminum tube for optimized flow.  The CNC machined billet mating flange makes connecting this TOP to your FMIC literally a snap.  The billet anodized turbo to TOP connector, 2.25" coupler and premium clamps top this package off.  If you're looking for a simple bolt-on modification that will optimize flow and increase power, then this part is for you.   • 2.25” Mandrel bent tube
  • CNC machined turbo discharge flange
  • CNC machined FMIC mating flange
  • 4-Ply silicon connectors with stainless steel clamps
  • Black powder coated finish
  • Laser cut mounting bracket

The CTS TURBO CTS-IT-210 turbocharger uses exhaust energy to spin a turbine that drives a compressor, forcing more air into the engine. More air means more power from a smaller engine, and turbocharger health depends heavily on clean oil.

Loss of boost and power, a loud whine or siren sound, blue or grey smoke, oil in the intake pipes or intercooler, or boost-related fault codes.

What causes a turbocharger to fail?

Most failures come from oil problems, such as dirty oil, a blocked oil feed or late oil changes, and from foreign objects entering the turbine or compressor. Find and fix the cause before fitting the new turbo.

What should I replace along with the turbo?

Replace the oil feed and return lines or their seals, all gaskets and single-use fasteners, and change the oil and filter. Clean or replace the intercooler and pipes if the old turbo shed oil or debris into them.

Can I install a turbocharger myself?

It is an involved job with tight access and important oil-priming steps. Prime the turbo with oil before first start and let the engine idle to build oil pressure. An experienced technician is recommended.
