This CTS Turbo Outlet Pipe for MK6 2.0T TSI Gen1/Gen3 is designed to fit our CTS MK6 TSI K04 kit, TSI Gen1 BOSS Kit or Gen3 TSI BOSS Kit and replaces the narrow 'pancake' pipe that comes as factory equipment on your vehicle. Complete your turbocharger upgrade with this high-flowing turbo outlet pipe!
Please note that this part is not compatible with factory turbochargers.
This outlet pipe is designed to the CTS Turbo MK6 TSI K04 kit but it may work for other K04 kits (other kits fitment not guaranteed).

The CTS TURBO CTS-IT-205 turbocharger uses exhaust energy to spin a turbine that drives a compressor, forcing more air into the engine. More air means more power from a smaller engine, and turbocharger health depends heavily on clean oil.

What are the signs of a failing turbocharger?

Loss of boost and power, a loud whine or siren sound, blue or grey smoke, oil in the intake pipes or intercooler, or boost-related fault codes.

What causes a turbocharger to fail?

Most failures come from oil problems, such as dirty oil, a blocked oil feed or late oil changes, and from foreign objects entering the turbine or compressor. Find and fix the cause before fitting the new turbo.

What should I replace along with the turbo?

Replace the oil feed and return lines or their seals, all gaskets and single-use fasteners, and change the oil and filter. Clean or replace the intercooler and pipes if the old turbo shed oil or debris into them.

Can I install a turbocharger myself?

It is an involved job with tight access and important oil-priming steps. Prime the turbo with oil before first start and let the engine idle to build oil pressure. An experienced technician is recommended.
