  • Fitment Notes: The latest generation of Porsche trickle charger- perfect for maintaining battery charge on vehicles left idle for extended periods. An adapter is available for cars without a cigarette lighter. Charger (5.0 A) with trickle charging and battery monitoring functions as well as two charging modes for Porsche 12V lead-acid batteries and Porsche 12V lithium-ion batteries (12V LiFePO).  Porsche began transitioning away from having 12V outlets (cigarette lighters) that stay "always on" around the 2016 model year.  While older models (such as 987 Boxster/Cayman and 955 Cayenne) generally featured sockets that remained permanently active even when the car was locked, newer models typically shut off the 12V outlets.
