SBK-016 Fitting Instructions

Setting the suspension geometry of a car always starts from the rear axle and it mainly depends on it how the car drives. VERKLINE rear subframe billet aluminum inserts are designed to eliminate movement of the factory rear subframe and to maintain proper suspension geometry when cornering. They also improve the stiffness of the rear chassis, the responsiveness of the rear suspension, and differential. These billet aluminum parts will not wear over time and offer long-lasting performance improvement.

What’s Included:
– 8 pieces of aluminum bushings – it is a full replacement set for the car’s rear subframe bushings

Features:
– strongest billet 7075 aluminum
– CNC machined from a single billet of aluminum alloy
– silver anodized
– helps maintain proper suspension geometry when cornering
– eliminate rear subframe movement during lunches, cornering, and gear change

Fitment:
2004 – 2012 Audi A3/S3/RS3 Quattro (8P) – cars made up to 28.05.2012
2007 – 2012 Audi TT/TTS/TTRS Quattro (8J) – Does Not Fit 2.0 TDI Models – cars made up to 28.05.2012 for later cars use a newer set.

2011 – 2014 Audi A1 Quattro
2012 – 2016 Audi Q3
2006 – 2013 Volkswagen Golf R32 GTI 4Motion (MkV / MkVI)
2008 – 2017 Volkswagen Sirocco R
2005 – 2012 Seat Leon 1P (4×4)

Notice:
Bushings are precisely cut on a CNC machine with very high tolerance (0.10 mm) but the Audi subframes have over years become floppy and lose their shape and size. Thus OEM bushes must be accurately removed and some additional grinding may be required.

About these Suspension Bushings

The VERKLINE sbk-016 bushing cushions the joint between suspension parts and the car's body, absorbing vibration while controlling movement. As bushings crack or soften, handling becomes vague and the suspension starts to knock.

Frequently asked questions

What are the signs of worn bushings?

Clunking over bumps, wandering or vague steering, a shimmy under braking, uneven tire wear, and visible cracks, tears or separated rubber.

What is the difference between rubber and polyurethane bushings?

Rubber bushings, like factory parts, prioritise comfort and quietness. Polyurethane bushings are firmer, sharpening handling and lasting longer, but they can pass more noise and vibration into the cabin.

Can I replace bushings myself?

Many bushings must be pressed out of and into their arm or bracket, which needs a press or a dedicated bushing tool. Some are sold already fitted to a new arm, which is often simpler.

Is anything special needed during installation?

Tighten bushing bolts with the car at normal ride height so the bushing is not twisted at rest, and have an alignment done after replacing bushings that affect wheel position.

How do I make sure this suspension bushing fits my car?

Compare the part numbers listed on this page with the number on your old part or in your vehicle's parts catalog, and check the fitment information. If you are unsure, contact us with your VIN before ordering.
