About this Starter

The DENSO DSN1204 starter turns the engine over when you start the car. It draws a large current from the battery, and as its motor and solenoid wear it can become slow, noisy or fail to engage.

A click but no crank, slow or labored cranking, a grinding or whirring noise when starting, or starting that works only intermittently.
