Vehicle Fitment

Designed for the BMW 135i and 335i equipped with the N54 engine and 8-bolt crankshaft. XClutch notes that the 8-bolt crankshaft configuration was used approximately through December 2008, so crankshaft configuration should be confirmed before ordering.

Important: Verify whether your vehicle uses a 6-bolt or 8-bolt crankshaft before purchasing. The 6-bolt version is available separately as XKBM23594-2G.

Serviceable & Rebuildable

The XKBM23595-2G can be rebuilt using the XMS230BM02-2G-XC XClutch service pack, provided the pressure plate and flywheel remain within the manufacturer's rebuild tolerances.

Installation & Fitment

This is a performance clutch intended for high-powered applications. Inspect clutch-actuation components, including the clutch fork, pivot ball, cross shaft, and hydraulic system, during installation. Worn components can negatively affect clutch feel and long-term durability.

Performance multi-disc clutch systems may produce changes in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) compared with the original equipment clutch. These characteristics are normal for this type of performance upgrade and may be more noticeable with lightweight or single-mass flywheel configurations.
