The MINI Cooper S engine uses a turbocharger to pressurize the intake tract, forcing air into the engine to generate power. NM Engineering has found a weak point in this system that reduces its efficiency. The NM Engineering Hi-Flo Air Charge Pipe replaces the original narrow hose between the intercooler and throttle body (cold-side) with a new pipe and silicone couplers that do not expand under boost. This system removes the OEM sound chamber, resulting in improved turbo response, as well as increased power in the mid-range and at the top-end.
