At CTS Turbo we are proud to announce our new air intake system for the VW MK7/7.5 Golf/GTI,  new 2019+ Jetta GLI and 8V Audi A3/TT with SAI (secondary air injection) is ready! This is the largest intake available, and it is excellent for tuned vehicles that require the extra airflow.

The OEM air scoop works in conjunction with our sealed airbox to seamlessly force cold air into our air intake system.  Air then flows through our 3.5" high flow air filter, which utilizes an inverted cone design for maximum engine breathing.  Our 3.5" CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe allows for smooth entry of cold air directly into the engine, minimizing turbulence from unnecessary connections. All of the components included in the CTS air intake system work flawlessly together to provide increased horsepower and torque throughout the entire power band and an aggressive race-inspired sound. Peak power gains range from 10-15HP on an otherwise stock vehicle. We recommend disabling your Soundaktor (noise amplifier) to fully enjoy the true sound of your motor and remove excessive drone caused by the device. Product Details:

About this Cold Air Intake

The CTS TURBO CTS-IT-270R air intake system replaces the factory airbox and intake tube to let the engine breathe more freely. Intakes typically bring a sportier induction sound and can improve throttle response, especially on turbocharged engines.

How much power does an intake add?

Gains vary with the engine and are usually modest on a stock car; turbocharged engines and cars with other modifications tend to benefit more. Many buyers choose an intake as much for the sound and response as for power.

Is this intake legal in California?

In California and states that follow its rules, an aftermarket intake must have a CARB Executive Order (EO) number for the specific vehicle to be street legal. Check the product details for an EO number before buying for road use in those states.

Will an intake cause a check-engine light?

How do I maintain the filter?

Inspect it regularly. Reusable filters can be cleaned and, if they are oiled, re-oiled lightly using the maker's kit. Dry filters can be cleaned or replaced according to the maker's instructions.
