The CTS Turbo FSI  Turbo Outlet Pipe (TOP) for BOSS turbo kits is designed to replace the factory pipe that comes as factory equipment on your MK5 GTI/Jetta or MK6 Golf R.  Our Turbo Outlet Pipe features 2.25" diameter aluminum tube for optimized flow and it is perfectly match to be installed with the CTS Turbo BOSS kit.  The CNC machined billet mating flange makes connecting this turbo outlet pipe to your intercooler literally a snap. Product Details:
  • Eliminates smaller factory turbo outlet pipe
  • Perfect fitment for CTS silicon coupler from BOSS kit
  • Mandrel bent 2.25" aluminum
  • CNC machined turbo outlet adapter
  • Black powder coated finish
  • Laser cut mounting bracket
  • Designed for fitment with BOSS Turbo kits on EA113 engines
Note: Due to different production years, this part is only compatible with certain MK5 models. Please confirm on your car that FMIC hose clips are located at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions if you're using a factory intercooler. This does not apply to aftermarket intercoolers. CTS-IT-311 fits the following models:

The CTS TURBO CTS-IT-311 turbocharger uses exhaust energy to spin a turbine that drives a compressor, forcing more air into the engine. More air means more power from a smaller engine, and turbocharger health depends heavily on clean oil.

What should I replace along with the turbo?

Replace the oil feed and return lines or their seals, all gaskets and single-use fasteners, and change the oil and filter. Clean or replace the intercooler and pipes if the old turbo shed oil or debris into them.

Can I install a turbocharger myself?

It is an involved job with tight access and important oil-priming steps. Prime the turbo with oil before first start and let the engine idle to build oil pressure. An experienced technician is recommended.
