Porsche has recognized that it's early plastic coolant pipe design was flawed, and from 2007 has superseded the plastic pipes with new aluminum coolant pipes to prevent leaking with age. The plastic pipes can deteriorate over time, and it isn't a matter of wondering if it will happen, but when. The new and improved aluminum construction makes this kit a permanent solution, and our convenient 24-piece kit makes the swap easier. This kit includes everything you need, even a gallon of unmixed coolant. Coolant should be mixed 50/50 with distilled water for freeze protection to -30°F. Also included is the coolant "T" at the rear of the engine that commonly breaks on Turbo models.
