This specialized hollow "banjo" bolt is used to hold the brake line to the caliper on vehicles with disc brakes, or to the wheel cylinder on 356B models with drum brakes. The bolt has a passageway inside of it for brake fluid to flow from the line into the caliper or wheel cylinder. Be sure to use new crush washers when you replace this bolt.
