Volkswagen Taos MK1

The Volkswagen Taos is a compact crossover SUV introduced in October 2020 for the North American market. Positioned below the Tiguan in Volkswagen's SUV lineup, the Taos serves as an indirect replacement for the discontinued Golf. It is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel-drive models feature an eight-speed automatic transmission, while all-wheel-drive variants come with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
