About this Radiator

The VALEO 734332 radiator releases engine heat to the air flowing through it, keeping the engine at its correct operating temperature. Many European radiators use plastic end tanks that can crack with age and heat cycles.

What are the signs of a failing radiator?

Coolant leaks or white or green residue on the radiator, a cracked plastic tank, frequent low-coolant warnings, or the engine running hotter than normal, especially in traffic or when towing.

What should I replace along with the radiator?

Replace the O-rings, clamps and any brittle hoses or plastic fittings at the connections. If the car has high mileage, it is a good time to consider the thermostat and the expansion tank as well.

What coolant should I use?

Use the coolant your car's manufacturer specifies, mixed to the correct ratio, and flush the old coolant if it looks dirty or contaminated.

How do I refill the system after installation?

Fill with the correct coolant and bleed the air out following your car's procedure, which may include bleed screws or an electric water pump bleed routine. Trapped air can cause overheating even with a new radiator.
