The rubber door seal on your car ensures a tight seal between the door and the frame of your car. The seal is not quite airtight but a good door seal keeps hot and cold air in or out, prevents water from getting in, and dampens road noise. If your door seal is wearing or pulling away from your door, you might notice a draft, increased cabin noise, and in extreme cases, water leaking into the car.
