RacingLine Underbody Tunnel Chassis Brace Rear / MQB / MQB Evo

This Billet Rear Underbody Brace from RacingLine replaces the thin stamped-steel OE rear tunnel brace for all MQB & MQB EVO models with an intricately machined aluminium replacement, providing Improved body stiffness and importantly much better exhaust clearance.

MQB & MQB EVO cars rely on thin stamped-steel OE tunnel braces underneath in an attempt to reinforce the body's weaker points and limit chassis flex under demanding loads. RacingLine’s Billet Rear Underbody Brace replaces the weak centre brace on all MQB & MQB EVO models with an intricately machined aluminium replacement, greatly improving stiffness, giving much better exhaust clearance and even looking great. CNC Machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 Aluminium, each brace has been engineered to remove unnecessary material whilst still increasing rigidity. Despite adding stiffness, this improved dynamic performance comes without sacrificing any ride quality or introducing any additional noise, vibration, or harshness into the cabin. With any 3" diameter exhaust system, the OE rear brace gives insufficient clearance. So rather than removing the rear tunnel brace altogether, RacingLine’s Rear Tunnel Brace at last gives you the option to replace it, giving you the clearance you need whilst maintaining crucial body stiffness. The brace designs mean that installation is simple, using the existing body mounting points with no drilling or trim removal required, ensuring fitment is completely reversible. As well as this Rear Brace, RacingLine also offers a matching Center Tunnel Brace. Owners of FWD cars can fit both, AWD cars can only fit this Rear Tunnel Brace.
