Why 3' Inch piping diameter? After much research, calculations, testing, and development we found that based on the 4.0T engine's demands, 3' piping diameter is the optimal size. With smaller than 3' downpipes you end up choking off the 4.0T's Turbos not allowing enough exhaust flow. 3' piping is the optimal sizing for these downpipes.

Performance:
