Gen1 TSI Oil Cooler Adapter Plate Kit - With Built-In Thermostat

The iABED Industries Gen1 TSI Oil Cooler kit is designed to aid with the notorious oil cooling issues that plague the EA888 line of engines. The OEM Heat Exchanger is inadequate in maintaining oil temperatures below 240*F (115 *C). Common consensus is tracking vehicles in extreme heat causes oil temperatures to rise above 275*F causing the driver to back off for fear of causing permanent damage. iABED's basic solution allows the user to remove the OEM heat exchanger and run an adapter plate to allow the use of external air cooled oil control products.

Key features include :

• MOCAL 90°C Thermostat incorporated into the housing allowing the installer to not need an additional thermostatic sandwich plate. (essentially an upgrade over 462-635-0010).
• Completely divorces Oil & Coolant with a unique coolant channel.
• Compact lightweight design with material removal in non-critical areas to save on weight and allow ease of installation in a tight space.
