This issue can be observed immediately when you lower the windows at any reasonable speed. The buffeting can be unbearable in the car and when you are forced to keep your windows down during a track day, this can be quite the annoyance.

We developed a solution that not only alleviates the wind buffeting but looks spectacular as well. Our wind deflectors attach easily with 3M VHB Double-Sided Tape. The units are produced from multiple pieces of pre-preg carbon that are bonded together and then clear coated in an automotive high gloss finish.

During the development phase, we used scan data obtained in-house on our shop car to ensure proper contouring of the units to the side mirror bases. We also utilized CFD to ensure the units would work as intended but also did not cause unnecessary drag and disruption to other aerodynamic devices.

Get rid of the wind buffeting issues and upgrade the exterior looks of your G87 BMW M2 with these simple to add units.

What is included

(1) Carbon Wind Deflector, Left-Hand

(1) Carbon Wind Deflector, Right-Hand

(2) 3M VHB Double-Sided Tape

Features:

Alleviates Wind Buffeting Issues With Windows Down

Carbon Construction with a High-Gloss Finish

Simple Installation

Specifications:

2x2 Twill 3k Carbon Fiber

Two-Piece Design for Unparalleled Fit and Finish

Pre-Preg Carbon, Autoclaved Cured

High Gloss Automotive Clear

CFD Analyzed to Ensure No Negative Interactions with the Rest of the Car

BEFORE
Science:

The buffeting is caused by airflow around the A-Pillar of the G87 BMW M2 attaching and detaching while the windows are down. This causes pressure waves to build in the cabin of the vehicle and the noise we all hate with the windows down. Utilizing the Verus Engineering Carbon Anti-Buffeting Wind Deflectors ensures airflow detaches going around the windows and stops the issue. We ensured the units do not cause too much of an interaction with the air to hurt other aerodynamic devices downstream.

3m vhb tape included:

We utilize industry leading adhesive utilized by car companies during OEM panel assembly.

For getting the most out of your VHB Tape, be sure to follow 3M Guidelines.

Simple to install:

We're here to help you through the install process!
