SPL control arms allow full articulation with the correct ball joint angle. The main arm is slotted, allowing us to use pinch bolts and SPL rotating clamps on the exclusive adjuster to lock in track width and camber specs ; this arm does not use jam nuts. In the past, using multiple wrenches to tighten down jam nuts while keeping bearings properly positioned was difficult, but this innovation makes it much easier to make adjustments. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe SPL double adjuster is machined from 4130 Chromoly, gundrilled for weight savings, and electroless nickel plated to prevent corrosion. Blue anodized titanium hardware further reduces unsprung weight from SPL control arms without inhibiting strength. This also includes stainless steel spacers to correct roll center if your vehicle is lowered. FK rod ends and high misalignment spherical bearings eliminate binding and flex that are present in the OEM front lower control arms.
