Why 3' Inch piping diameter? After much research, calculations, testing, and development we found that based on the 4.0T engine's demands, 3' piping diameter is the largest piping diameter that can fit in order to optimize the vehicles performance. With smaller than 3' exhaust you end up choking off the 4.0T's Turbos not allowing enough exhaust flow.
