The center plastic piece between the individual roll bars is essential for keeping the wind out of your face while driving with the top down. Even on a brisk day with this piece installed and the heater cranked on, you'll feel like you are wrapped in a warm blanket and very little of the exterior cold will even come close to you. The deflector is not sold with the pieces needed to install it, so that is where this kit comes in.
