The compound used in Akebono's ceramic brake pads are unmatched. Ceramic pads do not absorb heat as rapidly, meaning heavy braking in hot conditions will not lead to an early wall exit. With a much higher co-efficient of friction, stopping distances are reduced as stopping power is increased. Also, because of their lower metal content, brake dust is all but eliminated. All of this comes with the added benefit of drastically increased brake rotor life.

If it's time to replace your pads, it is also a good idea replace your rotors to get maximum braking performance and longer life out of your brakes. **This brake pad set is designed for the 282/286mm or 260mm TRW rear brakes. Please check your existing parts prior to ordering. TRW rear braking components have the following identifiers.

• 260mm, 282x12 or 286x12 mm rear rotor size (accommodates either size)
• Thread in (flare style) rear brake line connections
