Direct replacement for the OEM Bosch fuel pressure regulators on the Porsche 924s, 944, 944S, S2 and Turbo and many other makes and models. Most of these regulators are original and now nearly 40 years old. They are prone to leaking or failure and can cause all sorts of running and tuning issues.
For the Turbo team, if you need to increase fuel pressure to get more fuel out of the system to match your preferred tuning chip, the adjustable regulator makes this a simple task.
To suit the lower operating fuel pressure of the Motronic, we use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. This simple and elegant design is a direct fit to the factory fuel system.

The adjustable fuel pressure regulator has been tested with Bosch 044 fuel pumps and work well for this higher flow rate. The upper limit of fuel flow rate has not been tested.

Porsche 944 OEM Fitting Kit - Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, 8mm Barb outlet
- 1 x Fuel pressure regulator body
- 1 x 2.0 to 5.0 adjustable fuel pressure regulator instead of fixed regulator
- 8mm barb outlet fitting
- Cap screw fasteners and lock washers.
Applications
- Replaces Porsche part number 944 110 198 01 for Porsche 944 NA '82 to '85 with M44.02 & M44.04 when set to 2.5 bar pressure.
- Replaces Porsche part number 944 110 198 03 for Porsche 944 NA '85/2 to '88 with M44.5-10, 944 Turbo '86-91 with M44.51 and M44.52 to 47K 02563, and 924s '86-88, when set to 2.5 bar pressure.
- Replaces Porsche part number 944 110 198 04 for Porsche 944 NA 1988 with M44.40, 944S with M44.11 to engine number 46K 02979 and M44.12 through to engine number 46K 61255 1987-1988 when set to 3.8bar pressure

Not suitable for 944 turbo engine M44.52 from engine number 47K 02564 onwards with threaded fitting on bottom port of regulator 944 110 198 05 and 944 110 198 06, Bosch 0 280 160 286 and 0 280 160 287, unless changing the threaded return line to a plain hose and hose clip.
- Replacement for Bosch 0 280 160 214 and 0 280 160 227 when set to 2.5 bar
- Replacement for Bosch 0 280 160 263 when set to 3.8 Bar
Additional Notes:
** Other fittings and options such as fuel pressure sensors, or fuel pressure gauges available upon request.
** On some cars, the fuel pressure regulator may have been changed to a different version, please check the installed regulator and make sure it is the same. As the installed regulator and hoses may not match the car and engine model and year referenced above.
** The fuel pressure regulator needs to be adjusted and set on the car after installation to ensure the operating conditions meet the factory specifications. A fuel pressure gauge and fittings to adapt to the factory fuel rails is required to be able to complete this procedure. The regulators are not shipped pre-set to the 2.5bar operating pressure.
** We also stock the 944 fuel pressure damper as a direct replacement.
